lean ground beef
turkey or chicken

28 oz diced tomatoes, undrained

onion
chopped

green pepper
chopped

can
8 oz tomato sauce

Tbsp
chili powder

Tbsp
minced fresh parsley

Tbsp
dried basil

tsp
ground cumin
2
tsp
ground coriander
4
garlic cloves
minced

tsp
dried oregano
1
tsp
pepper
1
tsp
cayenne pepper

Tbsp
Frank's RedHot Sauce
or to taste

Tbsp
minced chives or green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a medium skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain well.
Transfer to a 3 quart slow cooker. Add all ingredients except chives. Mix to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Sprinkle with chives before serving.
